Block paving cleaning and sealing in Nottinghamshire is always done in 4 Stages -

Stage 1: We would always treat the paved area first with fungicidal wash to remmove any fungal spores or weeds, then leave it for 5-7 days.

Stage 2: Cleaning the paved area is next using a high powered pressure cleaner to remove any weeds or dirt that may have built up over time. It is best to remove oil or diesel stains at this stage.

Stage 3: To stabilise the paving pure kiln dried sand is then brushed into the joints.

Stage 4: To extend the lifespan of the paving, Smartseal block paving sealer is then sprayed* onto the surface.

* The resin based sealant is sprayed in two coats to make sure each individual block and sand is well covered and to provide the most durable solution.
